The new training center at 5690 Sonoma Drive (next door to the WACA administration building) is available for remote and socially distant in-person meetings. It can be used for team building, meetings, online classes, and trainings.
The training center has a spacious classroom with a seating capacity of 75 people. It also has a lounge overflow area for congregating and connects to a separate space with a hightop conference table that sits eight people for a smaller gathering. Also available is a smaller conference room that seats 20. All these spaces are open for member and partner usage. Upgraded meeting technology with multiple VIVO television screens optimize viewing experience and participation. Viewonly webinars can include up to 100 attendees; interactive video webinars can accommodate up to 500 participants.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, the center’s 75-person classroom is currently limited to accommodate 20 people to allow for 6 feet of separation for social distancing. We are spacing out the facility’s use to once a week, use an air purifier and circulating A/C to maintain airflow, and disinfectant sanitation precedes each use of the space. WACA follows state and county COVID-19 regulations and guidelines.
